- The GT-7012-M is designed to assess the abrasion resistance of textile fabrics, shoe uppers, shoe linings, and shoe soles.
- This instrument allows up to 4 specimens to be tested simultaneously. The specimens are abraded against abradants in a Lissajous pattern for a specified number of cycles.

Principle
The Martindale tester is specifically designed to determine the durability and resistance of textile fabrics, shoe uppers, shoe linings, and shoe soles to abrasion. During a Martindale test, specimens are subjected to repeated abrasion in a Lissajous pattern until a specified number of cycles is reached.
Broad material applicability:
Ideal for fitting materials commonly used in the textile and footwear industries, such as textile fabrics, shoe uppers, shoe linings, and shoe soles.
Multiple test stations:
To enhance work efficiency, the GT-7012-M features multiple test stations, allowing up to 4 specimens to be tested simultaneously.
Various rubbing directions:
By rubbing specimens in a Lissajous pattern, the GT-7012-M simulates the effects of rubbing in various directions.
Wearing simulation:
Simulates daily wear to ensure the performance and service life of materials in real-world scenarios.
Adjustable rubbing cycles:
Allows operators to set and modify the number of cycles, ensuring test conditions conform to referenced standards.
Abrasion resistance assessment:
Enables operators to assess material performance against abrasion by observing the degree of wear on sample subjected to abrasion testing.
Standard conformity:
Ensures that products meet industry standards and satisfy quality expectations in the market.
-
Daily-use simulation
Replicate the results of wearing and tearing through rubbing specimens in a Lissajous pattern.
High efficiency
Allows up to 4 specimens to be tested simultaneously without interference, increasing work efficiency.
Flexible testing capabilities
This instrument is capable of performing either dry or wet abrasion tests.
